My name is Gary Maltby and I have a passion for taking projects from the early idea stage and developing them into a well engineered product that is ready for production.

 

In 2001 I started using SolidWorks 3D mechanical design software, allowing me to design parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies being confident that they will fit and function properly before they are manufactured. SolidWorks lets me create simulations to validate designs and animations to show how parts will interact when they are manufactured. Rendering tools allow me to add photo-realistic pictures to work instructions or for use in promotional material.

Robotics and Industrial automation training gave me the ability to design for various manufacturing processes. Remaining highly trained has allowed me to gain valuable working experience in a variety of industries including defense, aerospace, automotive as well as other specialized manufacturing sectors.

I get great satisfaction when difficult projects are successfully completed and I can look forward to finding solutions to the next challenge.
